One down already. Not sure how long we can be allowed to go on losing week after week after week. Game not over yet, but if we lose today then surely Garner must have at least 1 foot out of the door? Did he ever have a foot in the door. Catastrof**k of an appointment. Looks to be completely out of his depth.

Had the best 20 attacking minutes I've seen this year just to be undone by piss poor marking on a set piece and a long ball. No clue what they're practicing in training, marking up is kids stuff

Going from the radio commentary...
Apart from their goals we've been pretty much in control and unlucky not to have been 2 goals ahead of them, before they got their second.
Goal 1 = no marking from a throw-in ... ball in the box to unmarked Akinfenwa. Goal 2 = ball breaks to an unmarked Jacobson ... shot saved and breaks to Charles who is the first to follow up. Goal 3 = a long ball through giving Bloomfield a straight run on goal.
I keep seeing people saying TC should be captain - I've never agreed. His credentials being his 'experience' and being able to point and shout. Hmmm. Leave him to try and marshal the defence - 'cus he's got his work cut out with that job.

They have had the ball for about 22minutes in the first half and have been awarded 10 free kicks, just what a long ball team need.

F'ing hopeless..good job we have 16 point gap over tranmere That’s the mindset now isn’t it. We have gone from being an hard to beat team to one who is now looking to others to lose. It really is taking masochism to the extreme, being a Rovers’s supporter

From here, it doesn't matter what happens in the last 20 mins of this game, we may somehow grab a draw, just as likely to lose 5-1, football can be unpredictable, but if Garner is still in charge at 6pm tonight it's pure stubbornness on the part of whoever appointed him.
I'm sure he's a lovely guy and all that, but him staying isn't in the best interests of Rovers.

It's the first game that we have had more than 50% possession for I don't know how long and looked a goal threat.

By the sounds if it, a better performance. Absolutely no point in a knee-jerk sacking. Let's see where we are at the end of March. We are very unlikely to go down given Tranmere's form is even worse than ours. Keep the faith. UTG.

Knee-jerk? What would you call a run of bad form, maybe 80 without a win?

You seem to be the sort who stood and applauded losers like McGhee and Buckle, I'll leave you to it, I want better for Rovers.

Don’t at all agree with Bamber now. this game certainly went all wrong, bad finishing, sleepy marking, homer ref. Listening on radio sounds like we had them on rack at 1.1 and much second half. rather than sacking, with last weeks and this weeks performances I feel he is turning a corner.

We'll blow Tranmere away on Tuesday, their last 5 results LLLLL, for 1, against 10, but today's game had a familiar feel didn't it, opposition have a look, take control, we don't know how to get it back again. We were dog dirt after about 25 mins last week, as soon as they changed their midfield shape.

I was there and watched side-on in the impressive Frank Adams Stand.
My verdict.
We were much the better footballing side and should have scored 4 or 5.
The goals were very poor. First-half defensively cost us. 1st goal was dreadful as Kilgour managed to lose Akinfenwa and Leahy will be might embarrassed by his first touch for the third
I saw more footballing intent today than any game this season. The problem is that midfield is not good enough. All 3 of them are not what we need.
I could see some green shoots today, but I would love a brown-field victory.
Felt a bit sorry for Garner. 19 shots, played all the football on show and still lost. There are still massive problems to eradicate.
Wycombe second is more ridiculous than us being 4th in December.
