Great rendition of 'Irene' to-day at Edinburgh Waverley railway station. We just started it and it really caught on.Locals were informed of the achievement of two successive promotions and it went down really well.

Is there one I've probably missed it some where.. :-) All that I can find is this, just skip through to 50 seconds . . . Sorry about the sound quality, sounds like he's broadcasting from somewhere under the North Sea.

Pardon me if this has already been posted, but I couldn't see it anywhere and I would really like to share it. When you see them both, then you'll know why . . . Magic ennit? I think that DC was a little emotional to begin with, but then again he's entitled. The man thoroughly deserves a real break and hopefully the new guy who is employed to help him with recruitment will be working in the background, on his behalf. Well done DC, have some fun now fella and congratulations on your wedding day although Irene will be very jealous. Have you even told Irene ? It's a crying shame that Claire ( landlady of the Vic) decided to shut the pub upon hearing we had scored the winner. We all know she's a Ted but I've always thought her fair even though others have been less complimentary about her. She missed out on a lot of money and she wasn't told to shut by the OB. She really ranted about damage and litter. I was really surprised at her hostility. No need for it

I hadn't seen those yet either, so thanks. Much more exciting to watch than the average Hollywood blockbuster, and just as many months of work went into making them when you think about it. Would be nice to see an equally thrilling sequel to both next year And on a much lower budget than Hollywood

DC is probably the best manager we have had since Francis at Twerton. One day I hope to shake his hand and just say "Thanks" Gerry Francis Mk I moved on at the height of his success with us primarily because he didn't believe that he could achieve his ambitions with BRFC, and of course central to that decision was the matter of the new stadium. History to a degree is repeating itself, but I'm optimistic that the owners of the club can lay out a plan of action (both on and off the pitch) that will persuade DC that he can achieve what he wants to achieve in the game, whilst remaining at this club. But one thing is for certain, that even were he to leave tomorrow we would all have a great deal to thank him for. I remember at the time of the clubs relegation from the Football League he said that he would build a team that we could all be proud of, and he has exceeded expectations on that front. Gerry Francis said that he felt the bubble had burst and that he could not take us any further, given the budget and lack of facilities and he was, of course right. I did not get angry and was happy with what he had achieved. It's funny really as Bobby Gould did a lot to help us survive and was manager when literally no one else wanted the job and at a time when we had to leave Eastville. He did a lot to keep us alive yet came under a lot of what I think was undue abuse and criticism. i think that, given the potential we have now and the backing we have now, Francis and Gould would stay. It's a totally different ball game now, pun intended. We have got real potential now and it's strange not fearing the future, something I still am getting used to

You're most welcome. Sophie really loves to document people rather than the sport and I really enjoy the looks upon the crowds faces. It's very easy to forget what's going on around you when you are so into the moment. To see thousands of others looking like their very lives depended upon the game really is something special The only bummer was the silver haired steward, Harper is his surname but I am not sure of his first name but Wael had invited Sophie to come to his box and to take photos only for this guy to physically stop her. She told him she was invited by Wael and asked him to get on his Walkee talkie but he just flatly refused. Apart from that it was a superb day. The highlight, for me, was being carried along the West terrace, when we scored that vital goal. I never touched the ground until a minute or so after and had lost my phone, keys and wallet. I was in between joy and fear of losing my stuff. I had 2 people hold up the phone and then wallet and keys. I was so relieved but even had I lost them, I don't think I would have been overly bothered. For that hour or so after, I felt no pain and was in a nirvana like state. I mean, this doesn't happen to little old Rovers does it ? I am so bloody happy that I made it to this game. It was touch and go. I am suffering horribly now but who cares, we are up and I knew it was going to happen, I never ever felt so sure of it. Oh what a perfect day !! The only bummer was the silver haired steward, Harper is his surname but I am not sure of his first name but Wael had invited Sophie to come to his box and to take photos only for this guy to physically stop her - Jealous ted no doubt! Sophie has emailed Steve Hamer and he replied within 10 minutes. His own Daughter is a photographer and he said he will look into it thoroughly & that he saw Wael beckon Sophie. I wouldn't like to be John Harper right now. It's fantastic that our chairman is so receptive and responsive. Hopefully she can get an apology and this doesn't happen again. There is no place for sexist remarks and actions at the club.

A couple of videos of the on pitch celebrations, for those of us who just can't get enough. At this point I didn't realise the Accy game hadn't finished. So thank you to the great Gas god of piracy for overseeing the fact we weren't punished for premature celebration

Not a promotion one, but one that was taken.a few weeks ago of my Dad for the 24 hours in Bristol competition What a bloody joke that competition is. Sophie did it 2 years ago and the judging was so much of a fit up. The photos that got picked had time discrepancies and when probed they just never replied. I hope you got better treatment than the togs that did this in previous years
