4th on my list of disliked club's, although I really need to let the Notts County issue go.
Solid as you like, I was trying to think of a more successful former conference club and only Yeovil's skirmish with the conference comes to mind.
Absolutely awlful game last time I saw them at the mem and probably set a record for Human beings falling over on contact with fellow human beings.
Tough. Will take a draw.

...and to make matters worse, apparently "that pub" is closed now.
Never mind.
Tough match, not withstanding their run of form and Ebenezer Scrooge defence, I just don't think they'll gift us the chances BG -ex did....so we'll have to carve out our own chances and therein lies a problem.
Scotty needs to play as inside left instead of rwb.
Lofty needs to see the bench asap. As does, Finley.
We need to shore up defence flanks so that's Hoole for me on right....Gibbo on left. I would drop Gordon to bench.
I'll wish for a draw or more... Probably a double goal defeat. 2-0. But, a good following though... And lots of pre match noise.
Enjoy your Monday leftovers, Gas..

The white horse had connections with some very dodgy types. I am positive they closed before more was or maybe still is being investigated. I only know this as a close friend owns central chambers and urban tiger.

I see it as a fluid 442/41212 starting line up.
Belly. Hoole. Thommo. Connolly. Gibson. Coutts. Sincs. Evans. Collins. Coburn. Marquis.
Subs. Jaaks. Lofty. Finners. Luke. Flash. Saunders.
Happy to play around with that and a strong bench..

Wonder if it will be the same as was ? A license for a place like this went from £200 to 10K and that was a few years ago. Glad you brought this up.

Storming half by coburn, their CB probably wants to stay in the changing room.
We aren't great at defending crosses, that seems to be our main weakness.

Gutted and frustrated by that result, thought we were the better team by far.
As the commentator said, Wycombe are the masters of the football black arts. Unfortunately the current rules and incredibly poor standard of refereeing in the EFL rewards that style of play.

Just got back from ifollow..
I like the dark arts as much as the next dark arts appreciating person but JM theatrical diving and us going down regularly unnecessary contributed to them timewasting and having a right royal laugh at their own keeper apparently going down every match 86 mins for injury break!? Both teams were taking the p!ss. Trying to get players booked ain't my cup of tea either.
We got drawn in and weren't good enough to break them down.
Percentage might have been in favour, and we did dominate in spells, but I don't think we done enough to test their Keep for a win today.
Workrate was high and we got off to a wonderful start...that looked offside on tv...but slowly, they got back into it.
No surprise both goals were conceded coming from our right hand side, not saying Hoole was at fault, just not as much support there.
I thought Evans offered little again. Sincs failed to deliver, even though he played in a more familiar role.
Collins evergreen another assist if he doesn't score... what an essential role he plays.
We were sometimes scrappy in possession and trying to win the first ball. They were physical and wily enough to grind out a result, then nullify any threat... unspectacular and no complaints.
Well done 1200 Gas but the Wycombe hoodoo continues...

Well done 1200 Gas but the Wycombe hoodoo continues... Timewasting in the 20th minute isn't a good look is it? I would rather we lost, and gave Wycombe a lesson about what a proper football club looks like. You don't want to get into an arms race of theatrical cheating and gamesmanship against Wycombe, because they will always win. Wycombe can't be better than the 'dark arts' because, if they were, then they would be at their rightful level - a mid-table L2 table from Buckinghamshire. It shows how much can be achieved by falling over and feigning injury at each and every opportunity. It is depressing and encouraging that this is all you need to be a top-six L1 side, as Wycombe have little else. That is all.

I had the home commentary on, early into the 2nd half they were talking about what time their keeper would feign an injury. I thought it was some in-joke. I was wrong he went down with a "hammy" and apparently does it every match, they were surprised it wasn't a little later in the match and found the whole thing amusing, they then congratulated an outfield player on feigning injury. Horrid, but well run club, give it time though and they will be back in league 2.

Hopefully they’ll sink like a stone to somewhere like the Hellenic league. Really dislike them as a club - almost as much as the s**theads and more than Swindle. Am so gutted we blew our chance to pay it back and send them on their way when we lost at home to Mansfield. Can’t think they’ll get more than about 2000 at home when back in their rightful place in non league

The notion of a rivalry suggests that both sides have a comparable history, status and standing in the game.....something like Woking or Maidenhead FC would be more up their street.

The daft thing is that if they didn’t act like such weapons grade bell ends Gasheads would likely have a bit of a soft spot for them. Small club in small catchment area punching well above their weight also with distinctive quartered kit. Should stick to annoying geographical rivals like Reading or oxford. Now I’ll have real schadenfreude when their bubble eventually bursts and it will sooner or later. Bit like Yeovil. Really wanted them to do well before they became a league club and got way above themselves. Now I am quite happy to see them on the verge of conference South and then deeper into non league. Compare that to Cheltenham and FGR whose fans seem mostly to have conducted themselves with dignity

As if Josh Coburns' goal wasn't joy, more comes from the "gate" as WBA also go one up Llet’s be fair, we played very badly in defence, again. Also seems our manager is still learning about what substitutions too make, to either hold onto a lead or to change up the game. I watched a stream and thought we had some good passages of play, the stats show Wycombe as having much more of the ( now seen blue tornadoes post so what i saw as very wrong) ball that I thought. I don’t think we deserved a W but their time wasting really angered me but it seems most do it, nowadays. It’s one of the things, in modern football, that ruins the game, both as entertainment and as a truly competitive game.
