A month ago I would have agreed with you, but we have momentum, and do have some really good players who are capable of that little bit of magic that all teams need to win games, and the effort is there. I think we are a bit soft at either end of the pitch but Taylor makes a massive difference and we are tighter at the back. We haven't totally clicked as a team in the games I have seen - if we do then I think someone is going to get a right drubbing. Personal view is that we'll make the play offs and have an outside chance of automatics but as this is Rovers, who knows? ? Whether or not we are good enough to go up - again who knows, but momentum is everything at this stage of the season and it looks like we may have it at exactly the right time. I also think despite our recent form that Barton is a crap manager, will continue to think this even if we get promoted, and wish he had never been associated with us. The run of form is in my view mostly down to having a settled side, making minimal changes each week and 3 experienced winners in midfield (Coutts, Whelan and Finley) who I think are the strength of the team. Hoping we can hang on to Evans and Taylor but am certain Elliott Anderson will be plying his trade at a higher level than us next season. I base my view further up, as you say this is Rovers, we are competing and getting good crowds. It’s cheaper to be in this league and our support is very good , for this level. I do not think the owner has the ambition to go higher. Just my opinion , oh and Barton is all you say. Very good post btw you may well be right. Personally I don’t think Wael knows his arse from his elbow when it comes to running a football club as the past 6 years have shown. Other than the training ground which may or may not be what we need (not close enough to it to know either way) what progress have we really made during this time? We are at a lower level of the pyramid, have a much more divided fan base and it has cost him how much to achieve this? Even our tents are embarrasing compared to the likes of Crawley’s!

I won a complimentary match ticket in the terrace that used to be the family stand, for filling out the survey. I got my tickets on Sunday then this arrives, today. I guess i will have to find a way to gift it as i don’t stand and, IF they had read the replies, this would have been taken onboard. It did give me a laugh though as it is case in point of choosing someone who cannot stand up for that long, to get this ticket. Oh the irony
