"Everybody knows there's a big blue and white quartered horse coming through the field, like a juggernaut." Joe Barton.
Great to hear from our Manager and of course he's right.
What a turn around at Rovers and it only took a year.Brilliant stuff from Joe and backed up magnificently by Wael.
We are "challenging" for promotion, quite the surprise for some Gasheads.
County are in the play off positions of course and apparently now playing a 4 2 2 2 type of formation.I think that's 4 at the back, the midfield create a square with 4 ,then 2 up top. That's an assumption/guess ,but some may like to confirm or explain otherwise.Last time out they drew at home with FGR.
What a journey County went on.From great European Cup Winners Cup nights,to dropping out of the FL.Only to begin playing again at Moreton In The Marsh.
Moreton In The Marsh!Amongst other places.
Eventually scrapping their way back. Fantastic supporters.
Fancy Rovers resting players midweek for this game! How lahdeedah, not to mention professional.🙂
I think County a good team, they have the top scorer in the division in 'whatshisname' (always reminded me of King Herod in the children's pictorial Bible),that use to usually play cameo roles at Rovers.
A tough nut to crack at their home and the travelling Gas Army will need to be as usual in good voice.
Anything could happen but I think we'll win with Joe keeping the lads "humble and hungry ".
Come on Rovers!

We have played Newport 68 times - W25, D17 & L26, We have won 5-3, 4-0 x 2, lost 4-3, 4-0, 3-4 and lots of 0-0, 1-1 & 2-2 draws.
Last time we played them away in March 2015 we won 1-4, goals coming from Clarke, Taylor, Montano & Harrison, their goal was by Alex Rodman.
Newport were founded in 1912 are nicknamed The Exiles, The Ironsides, The Port, The County & play at Rodney Parade.
Manager James Rowberry is 36, born in Newport, has had a great debut season at the helm and got his UEFA Pro License at 29.
The supporters' unofficial anthem is Come on the County, written by Ken Buck and Eric Thomas. Originally released in 1973.
Their squad includes Joe Day & James Clarke, Managers have been Peter Beadle and the much missed Justin Edinburgh.
I am confident of another away win for BRFC and our unbeaten run of 4 wins and 2 draws continues.

Here we go - another "must win" game, although I think all games will have that label now.
Dom Telford worries me, he's been scoring freely, and will surely have an extra bit of edge against his old club. I think we can win it, Belly will probably be busy in order to keep another clean sheet - but we know he's up to the task.
1-2 win for Rovers. UTG

Warning for travelling Gas, Newport Police have drafted in extra officers for todays game, any ‘anti social behaviour’ will be dealt with ‘Robustly’ on anyone from Bristol singing ,laughing or being a little merry,
It could be case of ‘payback’ as the last time, after the game the police were packing up their gear and congratulating themselves for a good job done when it all ‘kicked off’ and it was like watching the ‘keystone cops’ as they played catchup.
Thinking back over the decades I remember one match away to Newport and there was about 30 of us arriving by train to be met with hundred plus riot police with snarling dogs - Welcome to Wales boyo!

UTG I remember one game, 80s probably, parked in a sidestreet along with some other Gasheads. After the game, get back to the car, quietly preparing to depart. Suddenly a gang of Newport fans appeared, stones thrown, a car window broken and a Gashead sustained a cut head. Fun times. Must say that the locals in the street were most helpful with the guy with the cut head.

A win here and blue and white juggernaut not only in playoffs but above Swindle at last.
Lose 3-1 it flags up we don’t really have the forward players of our promotion rivals, and bodes ill for the run in.
Make or break moment this.

From my vantage point of bbc.com updates, we appear to be having the best of the game so far. Seems like a Zulu approach...poor Will, he's getting fired at.
Can't have a drink to calm my nerves.
